1989 Citroen BX 16-Valve

Am selling this on behalf of a mate.

H reg (90) Bx16v,
154k on the clock with minimal smoke on start up but fine when warm
Mot and tax until March 07
Had 4 new tyres for Mot
Cambelt was replaced 10k ago (last year)
Recent Rotor arm, cap, CV boots and a S/S Sebring back box
Remote Toad alarm
Car has normal knocks and bumps as you would expect but cleans up very well,
Car was owned by a Citroen mechanic previously, hence not a great deal of history.
Two bad bits.... sunroof drains need sorting and needs a rear ABS senser(I should be able to supply this)
£500 with tax £425 without.

Car is located in East Sussex near Hastings

Not good but what can be done, if no one buys it to use as is the seller just wants a sale.

When i sold my old red 16v a few months ago i was lucky to find a BX enthusiast buyer, it was mainly 205 guys enquiring though.

I know what you mean Philip, i went through a phase of trying to save everything i could but in the long run it didnt work, you end up with loads of crap that never gets done. (see my list of stuff below)

Folks,
Car has been bought, by myself, not quite my plan but you know how it is 8)

Not sure what i'm going to do with it though, if it turns out better than my black 16v i'll keep it and make one really nice car from the two. All just idea's at the moment.

Tim,
both these cars are reasonable mate, easy enough to keep both going but the only reason i bought the silver one was to give it a fighting chance of survival as IMHO its far to good to break.
I pick it up on Wednesday and after that i will compair the two. But knowing that mine needs a bit of welding here and there surely it will be better if i keep the best of the bunch  , but hopefully neither of them will meet a sticky end.

Its easy enough to save cars 8) the hard part is finding them a new and loving home
