Surely it can only be Mk2 as no Mk1 16v's were made were they? It will be the version with the spoiler and not the whale tail though.

no it wont be pugged as you put it! yes im into original 205s as well,i have 4 of them,and a 2cv & been after a gti for ages!dont worry itll stay as it should be!

Glad its not being pugged Patrick, just that i noticed quite a few puggy items on e-bay listed to the winning bidder so presumed it was fated like so many. Glad you're going to save it, look forward to hearing more on how you're getting on :D
