BX Mk1 needed for newspaper feature
Howdy folks
For those who don't know, I work on Classic Car Weekly and I've finally got my way! Yes, we're doing a BX buyer's guide (actually, it's not our first!). As well as tips about what to look for (I've had two myself, but always welcome input from others) I could do with finding a nice Mk1 for photos. Obviously a GT Digit is the holy grail, but I'll be happy with anything relatively tidy - trim level/engine doesn't really matter. Would be a bonus if we could find a later one for the same shoot, but this certainly isn't essential.
We're based in Peterborough, so not a million miles away would suit us best. I'd be looking to do something within the next few weeks.
And yes, I am aware that if we'd scheduled it just a few weeks later, I'd have my choice of BXs at Wood Green! (and yes, I plan to be there too as I only live up the road).
Anyway, drop me a line at ian.seabrook@kelseypb.co.uk or post here (email may be quicker).
Cheers
Ian

You can photograph my GT DIgit if you like, but that would be more of a guide as to what condition you shouldn't buy a car in!Dollywobbler wrote:Obviously a GT Digit is the holy grail,

Philip I totally agree with you, plus I got Chauffeured to Wetherby and back (many thanks for that Tim).Philip Chidlow wrote:Suggest you contact Tim (Roverman)....
His GT won a gong recently at Wetherby.
I can therefore endorse of the superb smooth ride of this fine example MK 1 GT that Tim has got !
Tim, are you going to contact Ian for 'Classic Car Weekly' ? It can only add value and prestige for your MK1 GT

(hey look i can post in brackets too) To be honest, its a very very tidy looking car, i assume its a daily drive category rather than concourse, and who cares about how wrong the fogs are (i mean there too big to be original fitment regardless of color), they add a touch of french chic! Still think Jazz should have won BX of the show at the national 2 years ago!
