Anyone near St Neots, Cambs?

Post by Kitch »

Just wondering if there are any members up this neck of the woods? I've bought some shocks for my TVR from a guy up there but it's collection only. I may not be able to get up there soon, and wondered if someone could pick them up and hold them for me until I can? Obviously some beers will be in it for their trouble. Theres no money to exchange, its all taken care of.

Anyone? :)

I know you said he wouldn't post them but have you asked him if you can arrange a courier yourself?

I realise that's stating the obvious but I've had loads of stuff picked up from people who said they wouldn't post out and Parcel Force (amongst others) are pretty cheap and it's a pice of piece to sort collection/delivery out with them.

The thought had crossed my mind, but theres four of them including springs, so the weight would probably be fairly impressive. Might wor out no more expensive to run the Paxo up there and pick em up.
I'm on a course at Ford in Daventry for a couple of days at the end of the month so could have tied collection in then, as I don't pay the fuel!

Well if it's any help you could always 'accidentally' get the weight wrong, they rarely check if you don't take the piss.

If you go on line and calculate the weight it will tell you how much it will cost. For example something like eight kilos is a fair bit less than twelve kilos etc
