New Shell fuel.

Just filled up with Shell fuel save diesel today, brimmed the tank & it cost £72 Lets hope it lasts more than the 717 miles i got out of the last tankful from morrisons which meant an average of 53mpg.....

I'm on the Shell stuff at the moment. I'll keep you posted. Have just been to Devon and back - despite a constant 80mph (indicated) on the way there, the BX diesel averaged 47mpg - previous tank was 51 with mixed driving.

I'm not really comparing like with like though, as we did a motorway blat down to Devon, then came back cross-country.

I worked your mileage out to 50.4 mpg or there abouts. Having just passed my mathematics O level with an 85%.

I think there's something in this : I tried the Shell petrol for a couple of weeks, and then reverted back to Tesco's for the last week and there appears to be about a 5mpg saving.

As mentioned by others before, this is cancelled out by the higher cost and the loss of Clubcard points!
