Go the car thoroughly steam cleaned underneath today - as requested by the garage; amazed at how much oil and sh1t came off it. Some of it was, of course the deliberately applied diesel gunge that was liberally coating the pipework, so once the MOT is sorted it's going to be winterised again...

A blowing back box means the Scorpion SS one I've got will have to go on.

It passed! No advisories.

The steering rack boot was a beatch to do, I helped with tea and swearing... the exhaust doesn't need replacing - it was just a joint... and there are officially NO leaks.

(So the good news is Todd, the Scorpion back box is still available!)

Really? Witha rubber boot I've never taken more than 20 mins to do one.
Lube the inner face with CV grease and it slides over the ram stub in seconds.

You really should have come to Stratty, cuold have had that done before breakky on Sunday!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Wish I had come to Stratty, but it's OK, now. And I can get on with the other wee jobs that need doing.
