I've had an idea...I've sent the word censor thingy to replace \' with ' so that might just work! Bandit is also on a poxy server and has the same problem.

Oh, and I use mine every day, about 300-400 miles a week and no plans for a replacement.

Our BX gets used every day.

And almost every day I use the XM too. I'm a believer in the idea that if you use a car it's less likely to fail you. Use an older car very occasionally and it won't reward you with reliability.

I use met TGD Auto everyday including transport to and from work and my misses uses the TZD everyday as the school bus etc. I wouldn't hesitate to use either on any long distance trips required.

Whats the use of having a BX if your not going to use it?

Both reliable although admittedly one stays home now while the other is in use. Reason being the cost to keep three cars road legal!

I wouldnt hesitate to go for a long drive in either but then thats just me I maintain my cars and treat them with respect. The reward is they last longer!

Checking the history I do around 30kms per day on average BUT any trip is around trip of 40 kms or more anyways. So not in use everyday only when I go anywhere!

I use my txd for my daily 40mile round trip commute 5 day's a week, unless there's a problem then we'll go in our other car. I've been upto Newcastle, Durham & darn Sarf many times & haven't had too many issues, mainly duff batteries, so i've always got jump leads in the boot :D

I have a company car (diesel Vauxhall) so the white 16V is a weekend car and the grey 16V is a long term project.

My 1990 TZD is daily transport, does about 12-15k miles a year, including lots of long trips (cross-channel back to UK for work, down to the Alps as well this year). The 1992 TZD will be back on the road soon (water pump, exhaust and general fettling), and then I'll have the option to use either according to which one's going best, or to take the other off the road for a while to sort a few odds and sods (like the fact the heater's permanently on full).
The 1992 is the newest car I've got, cost £125. The 1990 cost a mighty £250 but then I bought it virtually from next door while I had to go to to Scotland for the 1992...
1990 BX TZD Estate ('the grey one', 1991 BX TZD Estate ('the white one'), 1982 2CV6 Charleston (in bits), 1972 AZU Serie B (2CV van), 1974 HY72 Camper, 1990 Land Rover 110 diesel LWB, 1957 Mobylette AV76, 1992 Ducati 400SS, 1966 VW Beetle, 1990 Mazda MX-5, 1996 Peugeot 106D, 1974 JCB 2D MkII, 1997 BMW R1100RS, 1987 Suzuki GSX-R1100, 1978 Honda CX500A, 1965 Motobecane Cady, 1988 Honda Bros/Africa Twin, 1963 Massey Ferguson 825, and a lot of bicycles!

Using a BX as your daily is luxury! A luxury I very much enjoy but I have occasionally ended up using my 2CV daily. Even that can happily cover 200 miles a week. These 'old' cars used to be new once, and people used them all of the time.

Mind you, not many 'old' cars can top 50mpg...

Very few new cars do either.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
