MOT passed Today

Post by MalTZD »

Well pleased, the BX passed its MOT today.

Just two advisories:

Slight oil leak
Slight corrosion on inner rear sills both sides.

Tester commented on how clean the car was.

I will be sorting the sills this weekend.

Very much so, especially when two 4-5 year old cars failed while I was there.

Nice one Mal, not a bad result there. Can you do the welding yourself?

No welding required, sorted it today.

Very slight surface rust only, no holes.
So wire brushed to bare metal today, kurusted, primed, then a dab of hammerite. Just need to finish with some underseal once the hammerite has had chance to dry properly.
