I didn't know there were any hills in Lincolnshire ...............

I know however, from my time spent at Coningsby & Waddington, that there are lots of dead straight roads - with deep dyke alongside full of water which, for some odd reason, the local motorists find irresistible.

I think, if I were you Paul, I'd give up on motoring and buy a C5 OVNO. I get the impression that you are to cars what Sitting Bull was to Wells Fargo.

Reminds me of someone I worked with who was constantly complaning how unefficant their car was on $20 of fuel.

They could not grasp the concept that if they had a Full Tank they could get to work for the entire week, they could also not grasp that $20 went further from the town servo rather than the servo near work that charged 14c per litre more.

Nope they could not grasp that $100 in one swift fill up would stop the car from braking down (running out of fuel) and by getting it in the town servo would mean they would have roughly $7 more to spend.

It was not rocket science to note they travelled 90km per day and they would spend less time in the service station or at the side of the road if they filled the blardy thing up.

When i was on my way to work my warning lights came on. Then went off.
I thought it was the hydrolic fluid, So i put some in it. Then as i was comming from work to home. The light went on and off againe.

   I hadn't spotted the C5 connection there - I live firmly in the past!

But yes. I DID mean a Sinclair special. I suspect even Paul would have trouble breaking a washing machine motor!

On a visit to IBA Broadcast Engineering (before NTL buyout) at Winchester they had an office wall decked out with BSB specs etc (remember the short lived "Squarial")

Anyway, there was also a large cartoon artwork display amongst this stuff entitled "101 things you could do with a Squarial" as they were now obsolete. One of the depictions was a quantity of the things bolted together to make a Garage for a C5.
