Another 12 months!!!

Post by mountainmanUK »

Monica sailed through her re-MOT test this morning, after swapping out the n/s rear arm and brake caliper.

A couple of weeks "tarting up" and she'll be ready for the trip down to the National!

I am aiming to be there if finances allow although due to the demise of the Green Hornet which sadly is worse than first thought i would be in the Xantia.
Anyone on the look out for some front wings (2xwhite)and (2xgreen) a bonnet in (green) a front panel complete with rad fans(cut off by Doc) all BX
I would be open to offers.
Unfortunately i would not be able to bring it all to the national.
There will be other parts when i can get the disassembly of the Green Hornet sorted out.

Regards Kermit.

Yes Tim it does indeed the drivers side sill which was the side the impact was on has some quite bad rust which the accident has shown up and the rear boot floor which i knew was going has sadly really gone.
She had a good life all the longer for you saving her originally.
She performed without fault on the BXAGON .
And had been to 2 National's so all in all i think she needs to go to a better place and if any bit's are needed to keep any other BX's going Just let me know and i will endeavour to get them saved.
The main reason for this is that the GS project is in more desperate need of my time which i have less and less of at the moment.
Allthough the GS is now a runner and sounding sweet.
The body and soul need some spiritual help and welding.

Regards Kermit

It Did indeed Tim and if it had not been for the stupid woman (not meaning that all women are stupid) pulling out in front of me she would be still going strong today and i would be bringing her to another National
But as we say that's Life.
