It seems people still like the look

Post by christhelion »

I like the look of BXs in any trim and although it looks dated coz it's not a soulless blob, it's timeless to me.
I got a text from my mate Simran from the 16v forum and the guy that sold me my old 4x4. He's just got his 16valve taxed and was driving to work:
"a woman in the passenger seat of a C30 was staring at the BX as they went past and mouthed the words "oh my god that car's amazing" and was looking over. So I did the right thing and dropped a gear and flew past. I've never seen anyone let alone a woman get so giddy about my little Citroen :) Mostly women ask if it's the back to the future car"

It's quite cool that to every day people they still look good :)

I polished the red shed yesterday, blacked the tyres, cleaned the windows etc and stood back, and thought to myself, that may be 20 years old but it looks great. Strange after being back "into" BX's for 6 years now my love for them seems to grow slightly everyday! :D
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....
