Don't worry about the forum police, you can do what you like mate. But if the GT gets nicked by cackers and no ANPR camera in your area picks it up, don't complain about it either!

They have to find it first (although Mr Seabrook and Mr RXBX know its location), also its hardly likelyto "blend in"

Wouldn't need to blend in, it'd be a cube within hours!

In all seriousness, one of my pet hates is rearranged number plates. They'd go in my room 101

Very nice Tim, but be prepared to get stopped for illegal spacing of the plate :(

I do about 500 miles a year in it Gary, and have a set of correctly spaced plates in the boot just in case. No doubt it will make some rozzers with nothing to do's day.

To be honest, I think it'd look better with old style font plates. That few characters just prove how wrong the modern font is!

Also technically illegal to have made up, but it is possible. if it were me though, to avoid any hassle, I'd find some way of clipping the 'proper' plates on while driving around so they can be removed once I arrived at a show.

At least you can see what the plate is supposed to be unlike some that you see fitted to other cars.

Isn't it potentially a masive fine if they do decide to prosecute? Chances are they'll just stop you & tell you the plate is illegal & get it changed asap as next time you won't get a warning.

Personally speaking, as long as the font is correct, why can't an ANPR camera work out the plate number even if the spacing isn't right???
