Fun times

Cake and custard, beer and queens of the stone age for breakfast on super bassy speakers, the party has started people! Going to see the GT later to start her up and swap over some new ignition parts :D

Anybody doing fun things this weekend?

Oh, I haven't go tmine yet! Expect it'll come later today. Rain? We have nice sunny weather here, we're going to stroll down to the river with some beers and a mini BBQ after we've done some jobs. I think i'm going to enjoy today, steve's cousin got married on a cruise ship in the last two months and they've just got back so we're going to their reception later. We'll be walking, and not in a straight fashion :D

My car activity this week has been limited ( ? ) to selling 2 Granadas and making the TGD nice and red and shiny again :D

Today (Saturday) I'll probably be designing and building safety cutouts for a big power supply (that got christened 'Sizewell C' awhile back) but I'll probably...
on super bassy speakers,
be listening to some vinyl while I'm doing that - high end deck / cartridge / arm - graphic equalisers by Behringer - A class amps by Technics - 4 channel magic :D

Might do beer / jazz on Sunday.

Day 2 of not smoking is making me very cranky*, so have decided I may as well clean the house while I'm in a bad mood anyway. While listening to really shit music far too loud thorough my earpieces, and singing along on occasion, much to the distress of the cats.

I also need to destroy some more garden at some point over the next 3 days and hoping it stays dry enough to cheer myself up by spending some KWALITEE time cleaning, cutting and polishing at least some of the car. Today's weather has been ... marginal for that, but if it stays like this I'll just go for it over the next couple of days a little bit at a time.

Good luck with the stopping smoking Sandre. I'm now 8 yrs and counting. Just keep thinking of all the money you'll be able to divert to BX related projects. =D>

With regards to the musical element, I always find Mr Marley works for me(three little birds and buffallo soldier) and the Orbs little fluffy clouds. If I'm in a particularly rockish mood then a good blast of AC/DC does the job. Highway to Hell usually wakes me up on a groggy head kind of a morning.

Cake and custard, that's how all weekends should start! :D

Girlfriend away cycling for the weekend, so I'm home alone, but working today and tomorrow.

Currently making some Spainish inspired something and deciding if it is acceptable to drink gin and tonics
on my own, although with the sudden drop in temperature it might be time for the single malts to come out.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Spent it already

About 20 minutes after my last post it brightened up, so I instantly stopped what I was doing and went and washed the BX instead. I've also polished the roof. Bonnet and wings next, tomorrow hopefully if the weather is reasonable.

Have a brilliant holiday Mick!

oh this place just gets better and better, went to tescos and there was a 1952 dennis fire engine parked up. The owner gave us a guided tour round it opening up all the storage compartments for the kids then he invited us to a car show tomorrow.got back to camp and an avro lancaster flew over at about one hundred and fifty feet at full chat, bliss

Very nice :D

JVC 4VR-5436 is used for the phono pre-amp and quad decode - feeds two, 31 band graphic EQ - Behringer FBQ3102 - which in turn feed two Technics SU-810 amps. Rear speakers and Mordaunt Short Pageant 2 and the fronts are old and heavy with Stentorian tweeters.
