The owner gave us a guided tour round it opening up all the storage compartments for the kids then he invited us to a car show tomorrow.got back to camp and an avro lancaster flew over at about one hundred and fifty feet at full chat, bliss
Haven't seen the Lanc fly for ages, I love that thing.

You can tell it's a 1952 Dennis, anything more modern would have dissolved by now!

Sunday I shall be walking the doggies, having some dinner with a friend and getting wrecked, just for a change!
Working Mon and Tues.. :(

Weather has been shocking here today. so after I finished work and after we cooked for steve's mum for her birthday and entertained the family for a few hours which was exhausting (badly trained children that haven't been told no much before who when you insist at good manners at YOUR table they have a screaming fit and run to mummy who always palms her off to other people at other peoples places!). Yea, so, after that Steve and I watched the Hangover 2, OMG it was soooo funny! More over the top than the last one but just as funny!

Back to work tomorrow and Tuesday, then on the proper look out for a job, and have to start packing the house up... At least we've almost certainly found a tenant for our place now, hurrah. Not sure when i'm going to be able to properly start with the GT - too much stuff is happening.

My weekend has been brilliant! Went to Northumberland on Friday on the Megabus (that bit wasn't brilliant but was cheaper than driving and means that I didn't have to worry about driving back tired and hungover) for a reunion with the girls I went to secondary school with. Haven't seen them for 35 years so it was great fun reminiscing and catching up. Home today via Megabus and very tired, will be asleep soon.

Good luck with the clean air thing Sandre, I wish I could get my other half to give up.

Well, on Friday night I flew my private jet to California where I attended the Pebble Beech car auctions. I paid a little over a million quid for a 1954 Maserati A6G Zagato Berlinetta. After that I went surfing and then played lead guitar at a Led Zeppelin concert (they loved me!). I'm currently sat in a jacuzzi at a 5 star hotel drinking diet Coke and eating a pork pie. I'm surrounded by about 20 top cat walk models - many of whom are completely naked ('Samantha could you stop that for a moment - I'm trying to type' etc. etc.). Or maybe I switched on the telly and watched a load of boats trollying down the Thames in the pouring rain. The royal family were doing what they do best (wave at stuff) whilst pretending the whole thing hadn't been a total washout - which it had. :D

I realised it might be 'inaccurate' when it got to 'diet coke'

I really don't have any polite words to describe diet coke - why they allow aspartame in drinks but have banned tetraethyl lead in petrol is a sign of just how utterly utterly stupid those 'in charge' can be.

err I know , we believe cake and custard will eventually kill you, the wife has been doing her usual holiday house hunting thing and has come up with a four bed [3 doubles] with double garage and workshop + massive garden for 140 k so we could buy it and have no mortgage after selling ours !!!
