For Barnsley BX.......

Post by cavmad » Fri Feb 17, 2006 8:38 pm

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Citroen BX ?
My friends all drive Vauxhalls which are far less complex.
Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my mates,
So Lord, how come my repair bills would bankrupt Bill Gates?

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a colour TV ?
Something to watch while I wait for the RAC.
I wait for delivery each day until three,
Oh Lord, whilst my BX rusts endlessly.

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a new set of spheres?
I’m running on suspension that brings me to tears.
Prove that you love me and buy the next set,
Oh Lord, my piles just won`t let me forget.

Everybody!

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a better BX ?
I`ve gone and spilled LHM all down my new kex.
Worked hard all my lifetime, my money I`ve frit
On this rusty old heap of cheap Gallic shit.
Vauxhall apologist.

Tuneless Over-rated Talentless. We all have our opinions, but I would sooner listen to a Bx diesel running at 4500 revs with no oil in it accompanied by a lunatic banging an oil drun with an old drive shaft

Sex Pistols, Slaughter & The Dogs, Sham 69, Stiff Little Fingers, The Smiths, Carter USM, The Clash, The Exploited and countless others.

Good shout for AC/DC (seen `em live at the NEC-pure class) and Iron Maiden (Reading Rock `82).

As I am finding I usually have too much time on my hands I`m quite willing to take the ten minute challenge one day. Give me a song, any song, and I`ll change the words into something BX-ish.
