Stupid question but dose the BX have a flash seeting for the headlights ? if so where is it ? :(

Yes. Just pull the indicator stalk towards you. With the headlights on, pull towards turns main beam on, do it again to turn it off.

It doesn't have a flash function when the headlamps are on, no. Just main beam like Dolly says, so you've got to put it on main beam and turn it off again quickly, two or three times (if you're trying to look like you're thanking someone) . Bastard annoying too! That and the rear wiper switch setup on a hatchback. Crazy!

Bit advanced that for a time Citroen had just got into self-cancelling indicators for the BX! :wink: :lol:

But the mk1s do have a switch for flashing the headlights don't it? A push switch at the bottom of the left pod. But I'm not sure if you can flash when the light switch itself (slider) is switched to the off position.

They do. Bottom of other stack does the horn. Believe you can flash with headlamps on or off.

2CV doesn't have a flasher, but it does have a 'mist function' on the wiper button, which is pretty advanced for a button. A shallow press gets you one wipe. Push all the way to turn them on.
