150 up

Post by Barnsley BXer » Wed Mar 08, 2006 11:58 am

I know that all the 150 "members" are not active and some may never return to this wonderful site, but 150 people have found us and hopefully pass the information on to others.

That's true some members with only one posting and probably never seen or heard from again, but then some of us will more than make up for them.

By the way, where is Tim
They think it's all over, it is now!

It's more significant than you think. In human evolution, 150 is the usual size of a family group - the number of people in a family group, part of a larger tribe, that would band together in our hunter-gatherer days. It seems 150 is about as many people that we can recognise as "one of us" even if we don't know their name.

Although we no longer move across the plains or the steppes in family groups, many organisations, army companies, departments etc are still around the 150 mark.

Anyway, I must get back to work :D

:D :D :D Wonderful. Doesn't matter how pompous or erudite I try to be, there is always someone with a witty reply.

I like this place.
