I do, but this...
Answer, get girt bird that attacks cat, like a eagle dressed as a budgie. The dog can be trained to go and hide the bits left over. Case Solved!
...is still funny! :D

What kind of blood is used in the C5 ?

So I did a bit more searching after I saw 'LHS' including someone who mixed LHM and LHS to start to get some idea if they were exchangeable. Also I thought there was a type of LHS that was used in early DS - are the old LHS and the new LHS similar: the same ? I just get the feeling that one way round - either LHM in a LHS sytem - or LHS in a LHM system should be ok in terms of not rotting the seals - but which way round ?

The main problem with the older LHS-based DSs was that the fluid absorbed water, which then corroded the steel pipes from the inside. I think that was the main reason for the switch to LHM. I'd quite like to convert my H van to LHM - possible if you can find the bits, as there were a few LHM-based H vans with hydropneumatic suspension at the rear (usually used as ambulances).

I like your answer Thread Bear !
We have a local cat that attacks other cats, and if you interfere, it turns and attacks you !!

KevR: What would need to be changed to convert from LHS to LHM ?
Have I mis-understood here, do the LHS-based vans not normally have Hydropneumatic suspension at the rear then ?

Don't forget that LHM is no longer produced, its LHM+ ;)

Jay was close, but it's LDS as per the piccy that Rich loaded up above. Apart from the colour, unlike LHM+ which is mineral based, it's either semi or fully synthetic, i forget which, in theory it should be better??? Malcolm was selling 1litre bottles of the Total stuff for £7, thats as cheap as some LHM+ which may soon start to get scarce & then the price starts to go up :(
