Return pipes

Post by sleepy0905 »

well i was doing a job under the back end today and descovered that the plastic return pipes from the rear suspension gaiters were not conected infact they had been blanked off and it wasnt the vent pipes as i checked that so i have now removed the plugs and reconnected them to the return cuircuit by the O/S rear wheel where it connects on a y connector which had also been blanked off.
I have had the car six years and had never noticed that  I can only assume that maybee it had leaky rear suspension units so that was how the previous owner cured it.
