Front caliper seal kits Bendix

Where can i get some? Seem almost impossible to find, i need 2 kits for bendix, Rob Moss has them at £30 a side, ouch! Lockwood cant help this time.

I take it you have tried cleaning the caliper out and re seating the seal?. I had a leak once after changing pads and this cured the problem. Also lets one assess the caliper to piston wear which on a high miler may be a sign of the caliper requiring replacement.

I see your point but the piston dust covers are completely shot and the nearside piston is showing signs of leaking, so new seals is the best bet. I also need to replace the caliper sliders so new calipers may be on the cards.

Just sticking up for him here, it's probable that he's paid something like that to get them in. That's just me speaking as someone who runs a similar kind of business. Generally if you can price something to help people, and still make the money needed to turn the business over daily, then you'd do it. In terms of getting hold of BX parts, he's definitely the most dynamic supplier out there.

Just don't go on Facebook and suggest he's put the wrong number plates on a car

Agreed, Rob can supply pretty much anything for a bx, and so far as i know has had these seals remanufactured at a high cost i suspect, but with the rebuild budget on the t/d now spiralling out of control any savings are good.
