Chevronic Parts Remanufacture

Post by Chevronicuk »

I'm sure it's my first time of writing on this Forum.I thought some of you may be interested to hear ( if you haven't seen us on You tube that is ) some parts we are having remanufactured.
Window runners have become Nla this year, this is an aluminium extrusion that fits on the base of the door window glass. These sell well and we are down to about 3 in stock. We are currently awaiting a quote on these.
Regarding news on the rear suspension gaiters discussions with the original factory came to nothing the end conclusion was tooling was scrapped when Citroen pulled them out of stock. No amount of resolving the situation will make the company change there mind, I have offered big cash incentives and an order of a 1000 but it's just a waste of time.
Taking into consideration the desperation for this part we have had to move quickly on this and our first sample will be in on the 18th January. The price of the new remanufactured ones is expected to stay the same as the original ones around the £18 bracket.
The other item we expect to have stocks of in the new year is Turbo Diesel exhaust down pipes expected in around Febuary time.
May I just say a really massive Thankyou to you all for supporting us with your custom. You are helping to build a good supply of remanufactured parts for your BX,without your support we wouldn't be in the position to remake.
Thankyou
Rob Moss

Well done Rob, keep em coming. Without people like you remanufacturing things BX owners will have real difficulties keeping their motors on the road.

I recently got my bx estate back on the road again after my local garage were able to order a whole host of required parts from chevronics. Many many thanks!! My car would still be un-drivable if it wasn't for the availability of those bits. Keep it up (please!!) ?
