I implied this a while ago... which was the point that Tim's avatar changed to "the only gay in the village"

With respect gents this is not the kind of thing I`m not overly happy to see on here. Whether the `implications` are correct or wrong matters not a jot. It`s a car forum lads, not a debate about people`s private lives.

Point taken.

Although I think it was more an insinuation that the car is gay/girly rather than anything else!

and I think/hope that Tim knows it's in jest. No offence intented...

Lol yes I do have a beetle cabriolet, which is a free company car as I do work for Volkswagen, free fuel and insurance too, and who would say no to that!! 8)

As for being gay, indeed I am, its not a problem to mention it or even talk about if anyones really that bothered lol but what I dont want is anyone to feel uncomfortable or there attitutde to change towards me because of it. Those of you who have met or know me will vouch im as normal as as anyone who loves BXs can be!

Ive worked in the motortrade all my life guys and am very thick skinned so you wont easily offend me! My interests are cars, cars, cars, drinking and chatting to all you nice people, not needlework hairdressing and fashion lol! :D

Hello I think the statement " im as normal as anyone who loves BX's can be" says it all really dosnt it. As far as im concerned it makes not a jot of difference, one of the kindest, nicest chaps I know, is gay. If I may say so, welcome it's a car club.
End of debate.
Best wishes all.
Geoff.
