Has to be said. When the weather is like it has been today, I miss my old Fiat X1/9.

Aparently it was rather amusing to see me drive it though, as an X a very small car, and I'm a fairly large bloke.. It was more "wearing" the car rather than sitting in it!

Was out in my BX with a mate today. Air conditioning brought the interior temp down from about 38 degrees to a comfortable 22, but then we switched it off, slid back the sunroof (massive compared to most these days) - appreciating the effect of the smoked acrylic sunroof wind-deflector :roll:, opened (electrically of course) the rear windows - (the rear sun blinds were already up) and enjoyed a gentle, comfortable 70mph cruise up the A3, radio burbling in the background and still were able to hear each other chat as we went. Heaven, really. And some people put a few hundred price tag on that? I don't think so! :lol: :lol: :lol:

was also out in the car today with my roof open! had to drop the inlaws off at the heliport for the holiday (isles of scilly) was lovely with the roof open fully! quieter fully open than on the tilt thanks to the deflector!! :D just right! haha! althoguh mother in laws hair was a bit of a mess in the back! :oops: :)

I must admit Tim is a sound chap AND he has the world NICEST Rover SD1 which i went out in last night, its an ANIMAL!!! :twisted: :twisted:

I have to say Tim, that Rover is an absolute stunner, its everything the SD1 stands for and in immaculate condition.
