She'll be mine tomorrow. Going to train it up to London tomorrow morning and drive her back 'nice 'n' steady' :^o tomorrow afternoon. Look out for me - Flash Bandit heading down the M4 tomorrow (if your eyes can focus that fast!!!!) If I don't post for several weeks, please send (at your discretion) some scotch or porn to the hospital (but please, no grapes!) N.B. Pornographic material can be returned to the donator upon request!!!!  ^^ ^^ ^^bx>

Should we laminate it first then???

Going up by train? You should've said you were relying on public transport to get there, I'd have cleared the day and given you a lift over.

Expect a phone call in the morning (well, my version of morning!) and we'll meet up somewhere on your way home for a pint and quick inspection if you've got time!

Welcome to the dark side Bandit! 8) =D>  =D> \:D/ \:D/

Nice one BXB, bet you can`t wait?
Unfortunately I don`t have any Scotch porn (kilts never did it for me) but if you can sneak a laptop onto the ward I`ll be willing to bet my 13 year old son has some Frankie on his computer somewhere

You've caught a bargain there....that looks really tidy.

If it goes as well as it looks, you'll be wondering what all this fuss is with diesels

Thank you guys, encouraging words - too kind too kind  I'm very keen to see what she's capable of but it's going to p*ss it down tomorrow so I'll take her easy. I am expecting it be different from the TD but I expect I have severly underestimated the differences

I was originally going to trailer it back but just thought..naah - it was a bit last minute tho' so thanks for the offer of a lift Docco, but I'll try and see how many annoying w*nkers I can find to annoy me

ed4ferrets - if you're off mate and fancy a pint then join me and docco sometime tomorrow. I'll pm you my mobile no.

Agreed and seconded. Bargain for sure. \:D/

Diesels are ok, I love mine to bits (although it can in no way be classed as a standard diesely) but the valver is something else altogether! :D

Unless you know the cambelt is good and has been changed recently I would advise against ragging the nuts off it till it's been changed.
Belt = £20
Top end overhaul = serious grief from the missus!! [-X titanic

It's gona need a bit more than a belt!

The clutch cable has been fitted by a blind, one armed t$£t!

The throttle cable is all wrong.

The heat shield is missing from the steering pinion

The rads cream crackered

Dont think it has a thermostat at all

Various wiring plugs not connected

It's been run on 95 octane

and various other things....

All that said, it drives right, everything feels like a valver should and I'll be fettling it in a couple of weeks!

Hopefully Mr. Bandit will be home safe by now.....
He stopped by and we had a couple of jars and let me play with his new toy!!!
Has serious promise for a good price! 8)

Cheers
