Wind deflectors
Anybody got any experience of using these? are they any good? fed up with driving non-aircon car & have to shut the windows due to the amount of wind noise created, these may be the solution????
If no one has tried these, buy some & let me know

Got them on the ZX - it came with them. Make already large windscreen pillars enormous, windows difficult to clean, - not really sure if the do anything at all.
I open a back window on my BX to improve ventilation if I need to when going fast. There's so much wind and other noise anyway a bit more doesn't make much difference. (ZX is MUCH quieter all round)

A mate of mine has some on his Pug 306 but bought them to stop the rain falling from the roof as the car has no gutter...a sunroof deflector is worth it as it stops the noise and buffetting even in fully back slide mode...???

I had genuine Citroen ones on my TZD. One broke off at about 100mph (who said that??!!). I was gutted as i really liked them.
It meant you could drive down a motorway with the window slightly cranked open to get a bit of fresh air without you or your back seat passengers getting a face full of cold wind.
I'll be getting some more.

You're so thoughtful. I usually say "nuts to 'em" as I'm not on the back seat.Ian_Fearn wrote: It meant you could drive down a motorway with the window slightly cranked open to get a bit of fresh air without you or your back seat passengers getting a face full of cold wind.
Plus they look pants. Leave em off Ian, its more poverty without them.

Your right there... Poverty spec is the way forward! Not really fulfilling that though with a top spec turbo dieselKitch wrote:You're so thoughtful. What i need is a 1982 62hp BX in beige or white with the little wheel trims, no rear wash wipe and a single door mirror.
The BX 10 is too well spec'd with wipe clean seats (no comments boys!).....

Flog the TZD, its dull. You need to be the first member on here with a BX10 or BX11

Each to their own as the saying goes.....I have them on my Xsara and they are great for 1. leaving the windows open a an inch or so with no fear of rain getting in on days like we've been having lately, the car never really gets to dry out. 2. also nice when itrs bleedin' hot out there (ok not often in this country ) to leave the windows open an inch so that you don't return to an oven.3. as has been said before you can have the windows open a little with no resultant draught. As I said its horses for courses, ain't variety the spice of life?
Still looking for a pair for my CX.......gonna try the scrappers in France next month.
