Just got back from my friendly local Citroen freak and got locked in a heated haggle about these supposedly Citroen fitted alloys off a 1988 BX 'Tecnic' . Price goes up and up. Told him that he should look at Ebay for a reality check. Told him about the 12 quid GTI alloys I saw someone had got on this forum.
Finally got him down to €100 complete with summer tyres. He's always inventing some other interested party usually coming from Switzerland with a huge sack of euros! Collecting them next week and will post a photo once they're actually fitted.
Meanwhile fitted the interior of the aforementioned Tecnic to replace the old Mk.1 seats that are going home in a cloud of foam dust ( have kept them for meets) and was forced to clean the diesel filter in the absence of a replacement. Finally found a new one and hopefully will cure the occasional power drop on hills.
Haven't been on the forum for a month cos of computer problems . Out of the vacuum!
