What price?

Post by Barnsley BXer »

As my clutch has been slipping for 6 months,I think it's time to get it replaced, before it's final big slip. What price should I be looking at to get it replaced at my local garage? The clutch kit itself is about£75 from GSF.

Labour-wise, a good quote would be around £100-£140 at your average local garage.

Why not ring Malcolm Lockwood for a price on the clutch, you could always take delivery at Wetherby. I know he doesn't stock it anymore but will get you one.

I don't know if I can do it for you, if I can I will, but if not a mate of mine will for the right money I'm sure. :)
