Aw come on Tim, that was GOLD!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

TZD with TRS badges £175.
TRS with TZD badges £125.
TRS with TZD badges and Halfords wheeltrims £1.79.
TZD with TRS badges and TGE wheeltrims £1,250 (trims are rare, only made 171.2 of them).

Oh crud, hang on a minute.

Ok, here's the revised BBOB* price guide (late June `07 edition).

TZD with TGE interior, fluffy dice and Wayne n Shirley sunstrip: £1.19

Any model whatsoever with tacky bodkit and lifetime of Meccano collection rear spoiler. £0.01

TZD with aftermarket alloys and tweaked engine, dull painwork and an aversion to cleaning items: £224,693.78.

TZD estate with 1.9TD engine, aftermarket alloys, metallic grey paintwork and non-working interior heater: Priceless. If you find someone that owns one sell everything you own and offer to buy it.

Quite literally thousands mate, not 'arf. It only gets devalued if you polish it incessantly and refer to it as a classic that should never come out of the garage and should only be used for shows. It's a car, use it as one.

What about a valver that's been on a cheap cheesey TV program, in what appears to be a spanking red but is actually cloudy and pink, with a top end that rattles it's tits off and mechanicals that seem to be doing their best impersonation of a long green vegatable that grows in the ground?

Do I get extra points for a bent gearlinkage, non-functioning PAS or a gearbox that keeps falling off?

And what about the fact that it's been intimate with the Doc on more than one occasion?

Anything that's had an association of any kind with Doc is instantly cooler than a cool thing on national cool day. Unless you clean it which remove the patina.
