This is supposedly a MK2 BX GTI???

Maybe it had a shunt and they replaced it with MK1 bits.

My french isn't good, but I understand that as "I changed the front to MK1 bits as I think it looks better"

Or something.

Close David, it actually translates as
"I spent many hours changing the front wings, indicaters and bumper because I have no life since the wife left me for the local cobbler".

Easy mistake to make, difficult langauge this french stuff!!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

HAHAHA

I can't read French so I obviously missed the explanation!

Very good translation though Doc.

David, thanks for pointing that out.

I don't really mind the Mk1 look to it though.

I also think Mk 1s look better... but what's the point of doing half a job?

Or just buying a Mk 1 instead? They're not so rare in France as they are here.

Exactly....a Mk1 would be heaps easier and you would get all the "quirks".
