I never knew we had such talent in our midst.
I like the Vivaldi "winter" opening --- exactly describes what we've got going on here at the moment --- it was minus seven this morning !
I love that repetitive thing going on underneath --- kind of reminds me of Duane Eddy's theme from Peter Gunn later covered by Art of Noise.
Nice lyrics too !.
Well done.

If I'm honest, I approached this with caution, because being a younger kind of bloke on here, I'm a bit bedazzled as to some of the other stuff some of these guys listen to (French stuff on youtube...dodgey, classic.....dodgey, pop.....dodgey) and so on, and being a bit of a rocker/alternative type I didn't expect to like the song much but would see the vid to see what you'd done etc.

But I really liked the song! It's gonna be in my head for days now. And a cool subtle vid too. Will be downloading the album.

Cheers!

I was originally liked the idea of singing the whole thing in the car shot from the passanger's seat with just the background changing to the rhythm of the song - but i couldn't get a camera far enough back, would have to have some special rig with it mounted outside the window or a wide angle lens. And cut away shots of the car in action of course.

Heres an idea - members of the forum singing different lines of one song, cutting to each different person for each line like the BBC Perfect Day ad a few years ago, all in a BX, or their BX, and of course cutting to outside shots of everyone's car to show them off.

To encourage those of you that don't feel you can sing, it could be a silly song or a piss take or something. We'd probably have to be drunk, but that wouldn't go down to well with the law.

Maybe during the BXagon challange in France - a french song!..

Maybe i should write a song in french and english about Citroens. Have to brush up on my french first.

Chuffed you all like it!

I thought I'd never post this but it's now or never after Max has shown the way. This is a bit of self produced 'Eurotrash' we made in 2003 - it does not represent really what I did then or now but it was a couple of days' of fun.
It was also pre-BX days so my vehicle was a tricycle. I sing in bad German and Dom sings in bad English. We still work together though our last effort - the concept EP ' Your Mum is Still Gay' was surprisingly ignored by most of the the world :D

Got some comment from a 14yr old girl on Youtube there too : Shit!

If anyone's got any expletives to add to that profound comment, please explete.

Todd

That was splendid Max (and your car is the twin of mine...)

You *must* bring the collapsible piano to the CCC National, the CCC will be stuned; their entertainment usually consists of sitting in the caravans and moaning/watching TV, and an empty marquee...

No, hats off to you. It's kind of hard to know what to say. You need to confirm which is your good lady before I comment on the girl in the black and white stripy top  :D

If there was a way I could post up an MP3 then i would post up the "Venture Rap", me, Daz Moss and Nick Kay ( who went on to much bigger and better things) doing a quite rude and totally nonsense rap for a venture scout disco.

8 mins 23 seconds of pure aural abuse.

Now you see why I became a nurse.

well 'shit' seems to fit! I didn't want to piss on Max's parade but I thought there was no comparison really! None of those ladies are my wife. They were 'friends' of my 'proper' band at that time and we dragged them in on a Sunday afternoon for the vid, sober and complaining but didn't they do well? That's Polly in the black and white - a very talented young lady!
