Kevan, i think to get to Tamworth, we should leave at about 8 ish & then have a nice steady cruise down without having to blast it like i normally have to :lol:

I've just calculated the alternative routes and it is going to be much quicker for me to go straight down the M6 and meet you at Tamworth services. I can leave mine at 8 to get there for 9.30.

Vanny are you going down the M6?

I'd have to head North to go on the M6 so probably not. I live 25 miles from Gaydon and will be using the lanes to get there. I might get stuck behind a tractor, but at least i won't have someone stuck to my rear bumper for the whole route.
