I'm potentially up for it, entirely depending upon dates though.

8) In all seriousness sounds like a great mini-break could give the cars a run round the circuit featured on fifth gear.

What have I done .................. ?

Hmmmmm - I can probably get a couple of dozen or so bodies comfortably in my garden for a decent barbie, and I can possibly organise a campsite nearby at a good rate - this end of the island's far better than the touristy bits with all its plastic tat.

Anyone fancy taking in a private motor museum as part of the festivities? I might even be able to get the local newspaper interested if we get a decent showing of cars- get a few pics taken, stuff like that.

Now THAT could be fun - might even give Tim something interesting to write about in the Citroenian.

That sounds great Bob, I wasn't presuming to invade your property (i'm aware of your shotgun and possible hidden Panzer) merely the local campsite?

I'm already looking forward to this   ^^ ^^ ^^bx> beers drunk !!!---))) :-spam

Would that be the one run by 2 guys that has its own vineyard? Basic but scenic and cheap. The wine was surprisingly good, but I'm told the quality varies significantly from year to year...

That's one option Mat - there are closer ones to my 'gaff' (hmm, learned a new English word today) that might make for easier logistics.

If this comes off, I'd like hard standing for any cars attending plus a boozer within easy walking distance of the campsite.

But that's all well into the future. Let's see how many bodies are actually prepared to commit to something before I start making wild plans .... I've travelled this route before only to get ouef on my visage. :?

April time any good?

Yeah, it's the start of the rainy season...

I'm sure I'll be available, it's only just up the road from me. Probably be minus BX though, I prefer comforts such as bed, heater, cooker and suchlike!
