Interesting, probably 2 gallons still in the tank then if the light just came on (or what do you think)?

So 483 miles for 12 gallons = 40.25mpg :D

I managed to get a few photos, plus a short video of the evening's entertainment. The singer was actually quite good, and I got in a few requests.

A raggedy line of BXs before Tim came along and aligned us to the nearest mm!

Mds141's very tidy valver

And I was not the only one who forgot to polish!

WELL
What a fantastic and WET and WINDY weekend in every sense.
Congats to Tim and his sterling effort in organising what must have been his worst nightmare ( in terms of the weather)
Tim you need to pay up your subscription to the Weather God then you can order the sunshine in advance.
It was really nice to meet some new and old faces and i think we all enjoyed the musical entertainment on Saturday evening.
It was a great pity that the BX club Hospitality area was completely destroyed by a passing Hurricane ( not a BX )
This was our only real refuge from the rain on Saturday.
I have to say the Venue was good and the whole event i personally think was a great success.
Had a good nights sleep back in my own bed.
I have to say inflatable mattresses are not brilliant for a bad back.
Now i am about to undertake the removal of a large amount of GS bit's from the Xantia I know they went in but as to how they come out again is a totally different matter.
I am going to re- evaluate the Green Hornet and see if it can be rescued.
Having bought a years worth of Citroenian magazines from last year and seeing it on the front cover.
I must say that if I am prepered for the challenge of the GS than repairing the bits on the Green Hornet should be easy. :)
It is amazing what driving VERY slowly around the M25 makes you think of.
Many thanks to Phil C and his wife Liz for supplying me with refreshment and the use of their facilities ( You know what i mean) both on the way up and back.
I think i have said enough now for a little while and i am looking forward to the Citroen classic challenge 2012.

Kermit/Phil B ^^ ^^ ^^bx>
Thanks and Regards to you all for a great weekend

Wow!
Mat, How did you get the singer to hang on a wall to do Four seasons in one day that was a request and a half.

The entertainer I thought was great!, very talented, and considering how shy he was away from the stage and that he had quite a bad stammer too makes it all the more impressive.

I intend to arrange a BX Section on the ICCR 2012 so you have been warned

/\ I just assumed that Mat was filming that from a vantage position, semi-relaxed i.e lying on the floor after a few sharpeners.

Well done fellas for weathering the storm!

Personally had a nice day on the sunday, was good to meet a few more forum names, even if very briefly in couple cases.

I Must try harder next time.

The little Tesco Value BX covered a paltry 150 miles to the rally and back.

I had a lovely time! Thanks Tim. The weather wasn't THAT bad and more than enough automotive metal on display even for my greedy eyes! Here's (more than!) a couple of my pics;

With so many nice cars on display it's hard to pick out any favourites, but Tim's GT, mds' valver and the 'Scottish' TRS deserve an honourable mention, as well as Len Drews' 'D Super' and the late Roger Bradfords 'Prestige'. Loads of good XMs as well but they'd all cleared off by the time I got up there with my camera.

I very much look forward to the ICCCR next year and some BX birthday celebrations - whose making the cake? :D

(Apologies for the inappropriately large number of pics of my car, but; my camera - my rules! :D)

I can't see any pics of your car Phil. Better you should apologise for those Xantiarse pics! :D
Whose BX van is that? Looks good.

Does look like a pleasant day - I was expecting pics of everyone roped together to prevent getting washed away!

Edit : I just realised they were Paul's pics and not Phils! Which car is yours Paul?
