Dont be daft Chris, its a big place, just make sure if you are going to make some noise then bare in mind the kiddies and old dears and park your "camp" a distance away and keep the noise down a bit, the band will be playing late into the night and the bar is open until the early hours too so no-one expects you to be tucked up in bed by 10 with a horlicks and a Citroenian, we wont be the only "campers" on site so I wouldn't worry too much.

The chances of some steward hoiking anyone off site in the wee small hours is very unlikely, just a few words the next morning I expect.

That's just the standard disclaimer that all events have to say, just have a back up field plan just incase

I'm guessing, from the blurb from Skylark, that anything involving flame is not allowed?

I've been on loads of campsites / events that don't allow barbecues but never one that does'nt allow gas cookers. Gas cookers are a 'controled' flame unlike barbies.

Seen lots of French campsites ,that also disallow charcoal type but allow gas ones.Less percieved risk /actual of stray sparks torching the grass trees /tents.

The fact that BBQ is stipulated as opposed to 'no cooking on site' my take is exactly that stated above. It'll be fine to heat a pan up on a camping stove, I'm sure.

Well its a Solo Artist, but he seems to have good reviews and most importantly is supplied free.

Were pushing the boat out a bit this year too on the Raffle, first prize is £200 towards your repair bill on presentation of an invoice. Any other suggestions would be considered too please.

£7 PER CAR on the gate for NON Members, £5 for Members. If you go and come back the next day there is NO charge.
