Tim:

Can you confirm the site will be available from the Friday evening for camping? The Citroenian says 15-17 in some places, 16-17 in others... The CCC website says 7:30am on 16th to 5:30pm on 17th scratch...

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! \:D/ drunk =D>

20 minutes isn't the shortest time I've stayed at some events

I've got to collect a bumper from Phil, so will spend longer than that walking around looking for him I'm sure.

If you look for a gazebo with a french flag flying (if all goes to plan!) either I or Phil Boxall will be there (as will the bumper).

Thanks Ray!

The event officially starts on a Saturday morning really but you can arrive Friday and stay over. Not sure if anyone will be on the gate though so I will come round with my tin collecting!

Even then, it doesn't take you to the exact spot. Driving out of the village of Wimblington on the Manea Road (very straight!) it's about 2km and on the right. I guess it'll be signposted as you approach.

I was really hoping to make it with the car to the National this year, but it would be costly, so with the expense i looked into flights etc as well but as things have turned out, i've had some work come in i couldn't turn down on Fri+Sat nights + the day on Sunday, so I'm afraid i won't be joining you there this year. I will use some of the money it would've cost on the BX though, planning to do some jobs this week.

Have a great time and i'll be there in spirit. I look forward to the photos. Please someone take some shots in and out of that gorgeous mk1 in gold from Scotland - (Neil GP's). My dream car!

hopefully this week i'll get my new struts on and vacuum advance on the dizzy sorted plus a little bodywork.
