I seem to have missed this thread. Is this meet still on? Never been. To beaulieu and seeing as the valver was originally from Concord Citroen in Southampton it would be re-visiting it's ancestral home, so to speak.

Anyone ever attended "La Vie en Bleu" at the Presscot hill climb?

Yes. It's a bloody great event. You get to watch some insane vehicles (from Edwardian bed frames with aero engines to Veyrons) going up the hill, while surrounded by beautiful Citroens, Renaults and Alpines etc. A lack of Peugeots and Panhards last year, but there were some Simcas.

Best bit is some cars are allowed to 'gently' cavalcade up the hill. I got to really give it the beans in my 2CV, though we did keep getting held up by a Morgan...

There was ONE BX last year - a valver that's used for autotesting.

Concord?? Don't know that one? Does it give an address in the history?

Presumably it was part of a group as there was a Concord Citroen in Wokingham too.

Which Wyatts of Winchester subsequently took over, but they weren't Concord before that. Pretty sure they were Wiggins Short. I'm only intriqued as I'm a local.

No pre-booking is required according to the website, you just turn up. Theres no allocated slots however, so if you want a load of BXs in a row, you'll need to turn up as one.

I'm going though. Be rude not to! I go every year for the fireworks, so it'll be twice this year

So then we all need to meet up before going in, yes? Are we all game for meeting at fleet services M3 and then the services between J3 and J4 on the M27? If you're meeting at 8am at fleet, then about 9am at M27 services?

I'm aiming to have the GT roadworthy and mechanically good for this show, and then nearing perfection for the ICCCR.
