No mate.The pie shop's shut on Thursday(been in today) Don't really fancy 3 or 4 day old pies Not sure about the bird line up either,as things are changing day by day.Bubbles(barn owl),Bella(harris hawk) and BooBoo(eagle owl) will be there along with(maybe) a buzzard, a Kestral and a little owl depending on how things work out this week.Look forward to catching up with you too.

Apocalypse now-ish*. I'm probably only gonna be able to go for Sunday - although I shall do my utmost to make it up for late Sat if I can, I DESERVE BBQ. Because I'm worth it.

I'm tempted to go late on Saturday actually (they're selling tents in Asda for 12 quid!); my work is going very BADLY or more properly; VERY slowly. I could do with a bit of 'ging gang gooley' and dining under the stars on a purloined venison burger. Will there be any Citroen motor cars there? If the answer's 'yes', my happiness would be complete (more or less)!

I'm jealous, I really am. While you're all sitting round a campfire I'll be at a wedding reception on the other side of the country, at a venue summed up by a single Google review in only 5 words. "Crap bar and warm beer."

Hmmm, it's an extra 100 miles and and 90 minutes driving, so a definite possibility. I shall have to pick my moment very carefully - I find that just before she drops off to sleep is a good time, as surely "mmmh" means yes doesn't it? At least it might reassure her that you're all fairly normal people....oh, maybe on second thoughts I'd better leave it...
