Same sentiment as others have stated. Great turnout, especially the BX brigade ( apologies for turning up in the XM!). Nice to see some new faces, as well as the usual old craggy ones!! :D Re distance travelled, Lancaster to Burghley House must be close to the furthest ( if you see my point ), in terms of total miles covered( forgot to zero the tripmeter ). !! Dad was happy with the genuine, bona fide Melton Mowbray pork pie I brought home. :)

372 miles for me, so you just pipped me there. A very enjoyable day out; in fact an all round great weekend! Good to meet a few new faces today.

Nothing to see here Willy, that's the famous AstraX, very citroeny, that. Definitely not a Vauxhall. Nope.

I totalled 440 odd miles, and nearly 10 hours of driving  but it was very nice to meet everybody, now I know 'who' i'm talking to on here (well, mostly) and it was good to have a look at the lovely BX's in attendance. But, I didn't get my race... Nor did I get to chat to the TGE owner who turned up last, looked like a good polish and wax would make it sparkly-gorgeous!

Smae I didn't bring a coat, tried to be all hard man about it but I was bloody cold most of the time!

Now I am just waiting for my GT to arrive, finish exams and it will be a very citroeny summer, with Beaulieu and the ICCCR. Yeah!

It was bloody cold! But apart from that; great day, great turnout and some great cars (jolly nice people too!). I was going to post my pics but I've got to finish a piece of work that should have been finished yesterday but wasn't, because . . . I was polishing my car 8)

It was very tough deciding between the 3 cars, all were very lovely examples and beautifully presented.

1st Prize was Jon Sandersons 19TGD, which just scraped through, down to its originality, dealer plates, and lovely unmolested condition. It looked like a 2 year old car instead of 20.

2nd Prize was Garys lovely Meteor Diesel, which was only let down by a couple of car park scrapes and the rather faded Meteor Stripe.

3rd Prize (it was very close) was to Pauls 17TGD, which was so shiny it nearly blinded us, a lovely example and considering 5 months ago it could have been heading to the scrap yard is a real credit to its owner.

Well done chaps.

Ahem. Don't forget the special award for Shed of the Show! :D First time a car of mine has ever won an award!

Was a great day. So nice to meet so many of you - what a challenge to remember names and faces now...

Also nice to discover what an eclectic mix of people are drawn to the BX.

I've got LOTS of pics, but need to sift through them all so can't promise I'll have any up today. I'll see how things go...
