CCC East Midlands Group Meeting 12th February 2012

Post by Tim Leech »

Next meeting for the East Midlands Group is on the 12th February for the Sunday Carvery and a chat afterwards.

We'll be meeting again at our new location of The Farmers in Yaxley and they have a dedicated area for us and do a very good Sunday Carvery too. Having experienced the carvery last time, I can whole heartily agree that it is very good indeed - highly recommended.

As the carvery is so popular, to beat the rush the meet time for lunch is again, 12:30pm. Obviously after this time if you're not having lunch...

The address is 200 Broadway, Yaxley, Peterborough PE7 3NT and it's just off the A1 at Norman Cross. Follow the signs for about half a mile, then right at the first set of traffic light, and it's a further third mile on the left. Please see here for their website: http://www.thefarmersyaxley.co.uk

Above is copied from the CCC website.

Nice venue, although I cant concur on the food, £10 for a carvery is not cheap and I wasnt impressed by the standard of the food.

I will be there weather permitting, after the other have eaten most likely/

More likely a "drive through" enroute I think or call in at my mothers for a proper Sunday lunch beforehand.
