East Mids CCC Group Dayout to Stondon Motor Museum

Post by Tim Leech »

As per advert

Sunday 25th of March

As promised here are some further details for the Stondon Visit if you plan on coming along next weekend.

The planned meet time at Stondon Motor Museum (Lower Stondon, Henlow, Bedfordshire, SG16 6JN) is 11am.

As mentioned before there is a convoy to Stondon being planned if you're coming from this way, and this is from Huntingdon Brampton Hut Services (Brampton Hut, Great North Road, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdon PE18 4NQ) adjacent to McDonalds Car Park at 10am for 10.15am departure. See here for a Google Maps overview of the area.

Takes about 40 Minutes from Huntingdon to Stondon so time ties in well, and anyone wanting to partake in a McDonalds Breakfast they can!!!

Anyone else up for it? :)

Any citroen themed events that aren't in the Beds or Cambs area? Keep trying to drum up some interest in a North West meet but so far to no avail.:( :)

Stondon is what I call a proper museum, most of the exhibits are privately ownd and sometimes come up for sale, dont expect any grandeur though like coventry or beaulieu

I'll see your 11 days ... I've worked 12 days straight (gotta love year end) so whilst I had every intention of going, I'm sorry, but will have to give this one a miss. Lodger's money is paying for my BX, so can't complain, but do need to clean the house.

Have a fun day, see some of you at the X rally?
