brake flexi's are easy. Anything is with a big enough hammer!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I am up for stopping over Sat night as well, depending on how many people do! - this is the Bank Holiday weekend, right? In that case, day out on Sun is a 'yes please' from me, as I won't need to get back too early for w*rk the next day :)

I'm liking DW's suggestion of a Sunday runout in the cars, I'm sure we can think of somewhere nice maybe with a pub lunch or something.

Tools wise, I'd say it's best to try and bring everything you need. That way, anything you end up borrowing is something you'll want to try and get hold of before your next service. I'll bring more than I need and hopefully we'll have enough between us, I'd prefer that anyone who's changing thier oil brought something to take it away in though.

What you're fixing/ What we hope to achieve?
What I'm hoping is that DW/Doc/me can show the inexperienced folk how to do a basic service on a BX. The differences between cars arn't going to be that great so if we show you after breakfast on Saturday, you should be able to get through it during the day. The other folks can lurk round and work on they're own motors and people can help each other when they get stuck or need three hands for something.

I shall be bringing the BX Club Gazebo and aim to be there about 7 on the Saturday as I will come straight from work and bring my tent, cooker and suitable food stuffs.

I should have just kept the gazebo really! Might have proved useful for cover if it rains...

Sadly by yesterday, my brain was incapable of rational thought.

Well apparently I cannot have the time off work, because it's a bank holiday and will be busy (both jobs that is). I kinda also need the money too... Sorry guys, I was really looking forward to this. Will very much hopefully be able to attend the conservatoire visit on the 22nd september though.

I may put in a surprise appearance on the Saturday, If I haven't pulled Timex to bits by then

It will only be for the day, as I'm collecting a motorbike Friday and will be at Castle Combe for a cycle festival on the Sunday. If I haven't tracked it down yet maybe I could get help finding the clonk in the front suspension [-o<

Good plan Tim

Directions are pretty simple, head to Ludlow and follow signs for the town centre. Which ever way you head in you should reach a set of traffic lights at the top of a hill. From the north you're turning right here, from the south it's a left. You then head along a narrow one way street with shops either side until you reach the market square. There's an offset crossroads at the end, you turn left here onto Mill Street. Now it's down the hill right to the bottom ignoring all the no through road warnings and our field is through the blue wooden gates right at the bottom of the hill.

Google maps link here http://goo.gl/maps/J5ETF" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; showing how bad the green paint on the old gates was

Bring yourselves, any parts, fluids or bits of wire you think you'll need as well as tools etc (don't panic we'll be able to lend some tools) . A large sheet of cardboard would be handy for lying on for under motor tinkering.

For camping you'll need your own tent etc or just kip in your car. If you're sorting your own food you might want something to cook it on, if you want feeding a plate, bowl and cutlery would be a help but don't panic if you forget. I'll sort out a kettle somewhere.

The weekend is free and entirely at your own risk, if you drop your car on your head neither I, BXC or the college will take any responsibility for your actions.

Be good to see you there :D

One will do, planning on putting my tent up, quick pint then grab a takeaway.

If we have opted for food will it be cooked or do we just get a bag of raw meat?, i'm easy either way but if it is cooked i won't bring my camping stove.
