Looks like I will be posting that alloy wheel centre cap to you then Todd.

PM me your address.

Bring some chairs folks- we can expect the ground to be a bit wet.

I was looking forward to meeting you too Ken and seeing everyone else. Yes, I'm a numpty, especially that I plan our summer trip to Uk around The National. I was so busy getting everything ready that I neglected the most important point #-o

Asides the pretty shite weather (see photo)I had a great day, more BX's on site than any other model (low 20s I think) and well done to the two Phils for raising a fair bit of cash for the BXagon and parading the green hornet round the field which to me at least bears a resemblance to Ecto 1 from ghostbusters!

I was fortunate to win "Best BX" with the GT, thanks to all those who voted and have been asked to put her on the stand at the NEC this year :D. so will get some classic recognition again.

Disappoined by the very limited amount of spares for sale and the numbers were down alot on last year but again I think with the weather it was to be expected. On a lighter note it was great as ever to see familair faces and to put a face to the odd name I hadnt yet met!

Roll on stratford.

Just sat down with a cuppa, car washed and put away , had a great weekend and a total of 535 miles all trouble free aswell, met a few more bxers ( faces to names ) had a good night saturday, a few beers , bbq and a few laughs ( me breaking a folding chair for one , sorry about that mike e i think it was your chair.) A dry night camping but the wind and rain came today but still a good turnout i thought i havent seen so many bx's in one place . It's been an enjoyable weekend all round and i'm now looking forward to stratford..

619 miles later (but that did include an extra unnecessary 75 miles when I collected Max from Stansted and went the wrong way down the M11 into London  , doesn't bode well for France!), back home without problems although I'm not so organised as to have washed the car! Had a top time Saturday night, although if I had known I would be so thirsty this morning I would have had more to drink last night...
Sorry for letting the side down with an unwashed BX, having said that Grahame (Aerodynamica) said it was "cool to have a nice interior in a scabby BX", which made my day!

Why the trade plates Tim?

Because I couldnt afford to tax the GT this month Jonathan sadly as things are a bit tight, the main thing it was road legal and was there.

Some shots of the day. The BXagon gazebo was a Godsend given the conditions.

A BIG THANK-YOU to all who contributed to the stall and those who helped make it work. We sold £201.40's worth of bits and raffle tickets. Add to that the fact we will get I should think between another three and seven teams entering the event I view it as a good day for the BXagon.

A particular thanks to Bexxy and his mate for all their help!

But it was a good day for the BX too with a strong and enthusiastic turn out. I thought it was a shame that, considering it was the year of the XM Challenge (aiming to get as many there as possible - to celebrate 20 years of the XM I think) there was a reletively meagre showing. Some nice examples there though. And congrats to Max! (an XM!   )

Looks like another great event. Some very tidy BXs there. Well done Phil with the fundraising and I really like the BXagon flagship with it's luminous speedstripes. Hope to see it out on the road somewhere in France this Autumn.
Am I to understand that Max bought an XM then?
