Likewise.
Just not at the national.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Just spotted that The National is on! Last year I only arrived at sunset on Saturday anyway ( having been stuck in Calais because of Pelops the Dog's inoculation papers  ), which saved me 8 GBPs ( after some heavy negotiation) but also meant that I had some serious catching up to do with the Pints of Rats' Nads ( or whatever it was in that box er.. cask)
Will be there. Hope Smiffy has got enough time to get his gazebo erected for Saturday night! :D

I'll definately be there, and if there is an opportunity for a night 'gettogether' then so much the better. :D

Either way it'll be good to catch up and enjoy the day. ^^ ^^

Well, the National's only 15 or so weeks away, so now seems a good time to put out a request:

I want to do a BXagon Boot Sale, with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK. I will be putting a nice selection of choice BX and non-BX related items on the old pasting table, along with some nearly new domestic stuff too. Would anyone who can PLEASE donate what they can to this fund-raising activity. Just let me know what you're bringing (plus price) and I'll make sure we have the space. Anything left over will be sold as a job lot to the highest bidder.

The proceeds won't be counted as being against an team's individual target, but to the event itself. If a particular team want to turn up and try to raise funds for their team too that's fine. In fact the Philibusters will be selling items (hopefully t-shirts etc) to help with their fund-raising.

If I have the time I will try to prepare a scrummy BBQ to also help with the Philibuster's fund-raising so if you're planning to camp and fancy some exquisite delicacies  let me know)...

I'll be there, can't make up my mind whether to bring the BX or the van though...the BX would be cheaper, but I really enjoy long distances in the van, in a strange (slow!) kind of way. Plus there's the obvious bonus of not having to put up a tent after a couple of drinks! ~ale~
