I had planned on giving the National a miss this year.......but,

As the time draws nearer, I am once again getting the urge!

Can't say yet one way or t'other, but don't be surprised if I turn up!

(I may even be in a shiny black GT  )

This is really the only time of the year when Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern BXers come together in any number. In the absence of a BX Club annual rally, this is the best we've got.

Camp on Saturday night and the Philibusters will try to sort a BBQ!

And it's BXagon year, so all BX's are particularly relevant.

Is it sufficiently far on in the thread yet to ask when the National is going to be?

(Yes, I know it's on the 19th July, but that was back on the first page and someone is bound to ask soon!)

We won't pester. It's a car rally for all Citroen fans - not just a publicity gig for the BXagon. Everything in proportion and in moderation as appropriate.
You can't blame me and other participants for being pushy in the past, but there's a time and place...

By the way, you think you've had enough of this damned thing?!

(Only kidding of course!)

Because hardly anyone would turn up, judging from previous efforts to get a BX gathering outside of that organised by the CCC.

Sadly.

But maybe, on a more up-beat note, new members such as yourself might create enough of a momentum to sort one out? If, geographically it could be a decent compromise, at a reasonably convenient time of year then who knows???

Thing is, I think we need a higher number of 'active' members to make it work.
