Mulley is perfectly capable of speaking for himself though Tim so I don't see the point of jumping in with your size elevens.

It is indeed good to see no backbiting on here but it's also a little sad that two or three people seem to have a 'mutual admiration' club on here and appear sometimes to exist solely to post responses to each others threads and big each other up.

A cynic may suggest that you prefer it on here now because it's gone quiet so no-one is likely to have some banter about spelling or polishing/buying/selling cars with you, which you pretty much always took the wrong way anyhow.

Reading between the lines you have a problem with Vanny and have used his comments to Mulley as an excuse to go wading in.

Mapgi (no ''e?) Vanny is a highly respected and knowledgable BX owner and has given years of good avice and help on the BX.

Leave it alone you lot

Me & Vanny are fine, i've got no probs with being corrected & dont have any issues with sticking up for myself or disagreeing. People reading this must remember that sometimes a dry tone style of writing doesnt often read that well, but isnt meant to be malicious, which was the case.

Aha, the original thread which was about some poor chaps new car, we havent frightened you off yet

Well, TBH, if they didn't then it would almost be tumbleweed city now wouldn't it....

You have to be invited by another brother, sorry member Mulley and go through a vigorous worthiness test which cant be published on here for legal reasons. Just watch for the "signal" at Stratford then the "Master" will make himself known to you.

The 19RD is going very well, have racked up just under 11,000 miles since i got her in dec, currently having a new clutch as the old was getting very heavy and starting to slip slightly. appart from changing the spheres all round and cam bet etc when i got her there has been no real problems.

As for the BX club forums, i think i shall be going back to the Citroen Car Club forums. Much less bitching and back stabbing!

You could be right there citroenboi, however it wont be as intersting as this site  We have many characters on here who are shall we say a bit passionate on occasion, & may disagree & argue, most of the time its just banter. I agree with Ken, come to the meet & you'll find pretty much all of us are a friendly bunch, there havent been any fistfights yet

citroenboi, can i ask what sort of materials you used to turn your BX into the shiney beast it is now? I've never used T-cut before and not exactly sure of the best way to go about it, do you wash the car before or after? Any more information would be more than helpful, Thanks.
