Not what you'd call 'concourse' condition, but stilling running on factory fitted hair and teeth. Full (but rather dodgy) service history. Mileage not bad for the year ( 'just run in' might be pushing it though).'Beard' and 'man-boob' retro styling body kit not currently fitted (for the record 8) )

I've already posted this photo on another thread, but its the most up-to-date I've got and the least likely to scare the innocent. This is August 2011, at a place called Mosset, which is up a French Pyrenean valley.

Both car and driver are well matched - both still going strong but inclined to make random involuntary noises, especially before they are properly warmed up. Both can move at a modest pace with occasional bursts of speed and perform best in sunny climates. Similarly, bodywork looks OK from a distance but won't stand up to close scrutiny. With some foresight, I positioned myself behind the car to avoid exposure of knobbly knees and other horrors. 8)

Below is a slightly older pic from 2008 in Italy. We hired a LHD Fiat Barchetta and drove to Salerno to visit Paestum and the battlefields. Shortly after this photo was taken, some young girl on a scooter whizzed out of a side road and crashed into the nearside. It all ended happily, I'm pleased to report.

Tres drole! I would never knowingly expose my rear end in public.

The 'black things' came with the car, apparently instead of the scantily clad optional extra Citroen bimbo, more's the pity. (I heard a rumour that Richard swapped her from the St Tropez into his Digit when he had it, but that may be scurrilous speculation.)

They are right-angle rubber bump strips to protect the insta-shatter bumpers. Never seen 'em before or since, but I quite like 'em.

Sounds like a challenge! XM in the Dordogne in 2002. Again, I'm hiding behind the car, probably on account of the outrageously hideous tee-shirt, but I had the Kronenbourg open virtually before the engine stopped turning.

What a good thread and what a fine looking bunch inc that bloke in the pub ( his natural habitat) - this would hardly have seemed possible a few years back, everyone was too shy!

This is three years old now but the only pic I've got of me and my yellow BX. This is where I go to get my Citroen parts - across a showroom full of exotica to an anonymous room at the back. I think I was going to collect a return hose!

Here we are in the Ensisheim scrappers carpark with my TRD: from left, Carl (TB2) Remy ( BXGTI1988) and myself. The central European contingent of the BXClub.
