Went down to Malcolm's this morning, what a lot of BX Estates outside his place? TZD needed a replacement alternator and then decided she didnt like her offside rear brake pipe and so it let go in front of Malcolms lock up. Luckily i had a spare and he fixed that as well!!

Yes Tim, had a set of bloody GSF ones on from last year, barely lasted a 12 month.

Had a result though with the TZD and the potential disaster with the oil cooler coming apert the other day. I have seemed to have fixed the rather drastic and constant oil leak i have had for the last year. No drips at all last night, even when i took her for a spin into T Wells, nothing at all left on the car park so at least something good has come of it.
Now back into T Wells for a complete set of boots for the L200. That will nearly break the bank ime sure!!

As i was fitting new tyres all round on the L200 decided to fit a spare on the alloy replacement rim i had lying around for the TZD. Old spare was worn and cracking and could only be fitted using standard bolts which of course i carried. This wheel with the spacers will be able to be used with the alloy bolts.

On another tack, i have been informed by Rob Moss at Chevronics that Elsie, my GSA C Matic has been road tested and runs ok. The hydraulic leak must have also been fixed to do this. I have been asked if i should keep the C matic box or replace it with a 5 speed manual. Think i will keep it original and keep the C matic transmission.
