Alloys on a Hurricane

Post by roody262 »

The alloys on my Hurricane are very ropey and i have purchased another set from a BX 16 valve MK2. Are these wheels that same size as those on the Huricane, I'm concerned as to wether they will fit in the rear arches.

Cheers, Dan

Hurricanes would be 5.5j & the valvers are 6j. Unless your rear arm bearings are in a bad way, the larger alloy's should fit on the rears ok.

One point worth mentioning, is that some members stipulate that they would only fit 195's on the 6j, others including myself have fitted 185's & havent found any adverse issues (i did check with some tyre fitters first).
