I'd check the sensors first before going the ECU route - for details on this and full diagnostic procedure for BX ABS there is an official workshop manual PDF somewhere around.

Try the links page here or search on the forum for a reference.

The ECU lives under the passenger seat, but rarely goes wrong unless provoked - which is usually due to moisture or mistreatment.
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

Try some specialist car breakers first as these sensors cost nearly £100.
Edwards of Billericay (as posted by Phil Chidlow) and another breaker in Sussex (posted by Citronut) recently should be able to help you.

If it is just an internal breakage in the sensor cable then you can just solder in a new length of screened multistrand signal cable. So maybe try that first - you have nothing to loose.

The front sensors (probably the rear too) are the same on the pug 405, which may be easier to find.

The connector on the cable end is different, but you can transfer this over from your faulty sensor.
