Floppy mirror

Post by Dollywobbler »

Howdy

New BX has a floppy mirror on the passenger side. Is it possible to tighten something up in there? There's very little resistence, so my first time getting up to speed will undoubtedly just push the mirror back in again.

New ones are quite cheap mate and easy to fit once you have the door panel off, if its gone floppy its possibly been thwacked and has busted inside.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

As I remember there is a nut inside which adjusts the tightness. You have to take the door card off to get the mirror off though, a pain.

Thanks. I seem to have got it holding position now, so I'll see how it goes...
